Big Flames and Small

Witches, Wolves, Terrible Christmas Ideas and Bargain Books!

I hope you are all enjoying your summer and staying safe.

I want to take a moment to welcome all our new members! I’m happy to see you’ve found our little reading group. I also want to thank everyone for all the new reviews!

The last few months have been all about finishing my new book. The good news is, I’m nearly there. The even better news is that my in-laws are taking the kids—I have three school-age boys—for the entirety of next week and that will finally give me the time to wrap it up!

So I expect to be contacting my beta readers in the next few weeks—you know who you are—to see who has time for some more paranormal romance.

I’m feeling so positive about the coming week, I’ll even give everyone a peek at the cover.

The Whiskey Den (House of Witches Book 2) follows Sebastian from book one, as he gets tangled up with the House of Wolves. You’ll see Adam and Charlie again, and get to meet Ezra and Gideon, M and Nixon, and a few others. It has been so much fun to write. But will be even more fun to finish. LOL

So far this year, I have managed two releases—Big Flames and Small and Club 669–and four re-releases of titles pulled from their original publisher, but I still have several books lined up. This new House of Witches book here, another contemporary romance, the fourth book in my Cold Fingers series, and a Christmas standalone.

I fear that one, if not two, will need to be pushed to next year. *sigh*

But not my Christmas story! I’ve actually already cheated a little and have worked on and off on it when I need to clear my head. It’s a story about office parties, a hopeless crush, and terrible ideas. I love stories that include terrible ideas! LOL

It’s one that’s been in the works for a while, so I believe it will be my next focus. It is July after all, which means I’m already dying for cold weather and some holiday magic.

Hey, everyone! I’m happy to say that Big Flames and Small is now available!

This is my first release with JMS Books and honestly, they have been wonderful! There are so many aspects of being a writer that has nothing to do with writing at all. Most of the non-writing parts suck, so it’s wonderful when you work with a good publisher. And I was even lucky enough to team up with the same editor as I did with Club 669. And that made the whole process even better.

I wanted to thank everyone in the Amy Spector Reading Group who grabbed an ARC on this one. Reviews and word-of-mouth recs are so important to the success of a book, and I can’t thank you enough!

Big Flames and Small is now available at online retailers! Read the blurb below, and check out the JMS Books’ Spring Sale and save 35% off this title and loads of others now through Sunday.

Big Flames and Small

Oliver Stoll’s life has gone up in smoke. Literally. Escaping an apartment fire, he’s made it out with little more than the clothes on his back and his best friend and downstairs neighbor, Mia. With few other options, he agrees to stay with David Elliston, Mia’s older brother. David was Oliver’s first crush, first kiss, first everything. That is, until the day they broke up five years before. It hadn’t been pretty.

David Elliston is back in town. Offered the chance to oversee the Kellmen Group’s newest magazine acquisition, he isn’t going to let a years old heartbreak stop him. But being thrown together with Oliver is harder than expected. And the flicker of hope he’s long tried to bury becomes even more difficult to contain.

Ex-lovers, best friends, and angry parents don’t make the best backdrop for rekindling a romance. But it’s the lies from the past that might just extinguish any chance they have of starting over.
